Luxman amplifiers are about transparency, allowing you to get close to the moment the recording was done, being in the room with the musician, getting intimate with the effortless detail, especially micro-detail. Muscular when it needs to be, bringing the scale of instruments into focus. Tight bass, never forceful, just lively, bringing the launch of a sudden pressure wave of air as a drum is struck into your room as if you were present the day the recording was done.
Luxman offers a full range of solid state and tube amplifiers that will satisfy the most discerning audiophile’s requirements. The exciting news for 2022 is that Luxman has introduced two completely new amplifier models. These are the M-10X power amplifier and the L507Z integrated amplier. Looking ahead to the 100thanniversary of the company’s founding, Luxman has achieved a milestone with the development and recent introduction of its flagship stereo amplifier, the M-10X. The most important innovation of the M-10X is the realization of a new amplification feedback engine known as “LIFES“, which has been developed and refined by Luxman’s technical team. The new LIFES system is an all new implementation from every detail of the circuit layout to the selection of individual components which all contribute to a rich musicality full of vitality. The exquisite flagship model, the M-10X, will evoke the true depth of sound, marking the beginning of a new era for Luxman.
With the integration of sophistication and technical evolution, Luxman has also introduced its new generation of Z series integrated amplifiers. The L-507Z is the debut model heralding the new range of integrated amplifiers. Like the flagship M- 10X, the L-507Z features the newly developed LIFES amplification feedback engine. The new L-507Z combines advanced technology and sophisticated functionality. It provides a dramatic development in musicality that goes far beyond its class.
The Luxman PD-151 Turntable. “ My goodness. Does this baby sing.” That’s what Ken Kessler said in his 2019 review of the PD-151. We whole heartedly agree and we also agree with the many other accolades he made in reference to the turntable. In fact, in our opinion, this is the best performing turntable we know of at this price point. The PD-151 does it all when it comes to sound. It provides a big, bold presentation with lifelike detail. Timing and bass reproduction is excellent. Speed stability is rock solid due to the new high performance brushless DC motor that the Luxman engineers created specifically for this turntable. The PD-151 also includes an excellent high precision tonearm which will accept a wide variety of cartridges. The PD-151 is a Hi Fi Art favourite. Highly recommended!

PHONO PRE AMPLIFIERS
Luxman has two outstanding phono stages available. The EQ-500 is Luxman’s masterpiece phono equalizer amplifier. All stages of the EQ-500 are vacuum tube. It utilizes a no-feedback CR type amplification circuit. The excellent sound quality of the CR circuit, supported by linear characteristics, is a direct result of the quality and accuracy of the parts used. With the EQ-500, it is easy to optimize the cartridge load adjustment. There are 6 levels of load capacity selection combined with a continuosly variable impedance selection with values from 30 ohms to 100 kohms. In addition, there are 3 gain settings, unbalanced/balanced selection, phase invert, mono mode, low cut and high cut switches. All fine adjustment and switching functions are easily accessible on the front panel which also has stylish pointer type analog VU meters to monitor the output level. The EQ-500 will make it easy for you to optimize the performance of any cartridge so you can achieve the analog playback of your dreams.
The E-250 is the latest phono amplifier from LUXMAN, inheriting the best in design from its predecessor the E-200 that has been the reference model for compact phono equalizer amplifiers since it was released in 2008. The E-250 provides for a full range of switching of load impedance and load capacity according to cartridge requirements. The E-250 features a step-up transformer with a 2 stage gain selection function in which a L/R independent super permalloy core is used, thereby supporting even low impedance MC cartridges. This creates a rich and expressive musicality that is only possible by transformer boosting. The E-250 has also received a new power supply and regulation circuit to optimize the power environment for the phono amplification circuitry. As with the PD-151 turntable, we recommend the E-250 as an outstanding buy for a phono stage in this price category.
